What We Believe

We believe that God is Love. God made each one of us, and God wants us all to be happy now and to have eternal life and peace.

We believe that Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine, lived among people, died and was raised from the dead.  Christ's death and resurrection have overcome the powers of sin, granting all who believe in him eternal life.

We believe that our world is yet imperfect, and it will remain so until Christ returns again.  Disease, hurt, poverty, and destruction are part of our existence; we cannot deny them or escape them, and sometimes we must struggle with them.  However, we see glimpses of God's kingdom, yet to be completely fulfilled, all around us.  When people care for others, pray with others, and share God's good news with others through words and actions, we see God's goodness.  In the mountains, majestic wildlife, and energy of the city we feel the Holy Spirit and see God's beauty.

We believe that none of us is perfect, yet God loves all of us and is waiting for us to respond.  And when we start living life God's way: studying the Bible, gathering regularly with other believers, serving those in need, and seeking more people who need to hear God's love, we find life that has purpose and joy.  We find life that is far more fulfilling than the normal daily grind.

We are here to serve ALL people, regardless of age, race, orientation, appearance, income, or ability.
