By the grace of God, we’re a diverse community of people resting in the completed work of Jesus, trusting in the promises of God, and encouraging and loving one another. Joyfully inviting others to join us in worship of the One who is worthy.

An Evangelical Church In the Anglican Tradition.

What We Believe

Statement of Faith

  • We believe God is One in Three and Three in One, the perfect unity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in the Godhead.

  • We believe God is in complete control in creation, revelation, redemption, and final judgment.

  • We believe the Bible as originally given is the inspired and infallible written Word of God and that it is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct, driving what we believe and how we behave.

  • We believe all people since the Fall are sinful and guilty before God, rendering them subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the God-Man, fully God and fully man as the incarnate Son of God; his virgin birth, his real and sinless humanity; his death on the cross, his bodily resurrection and his present reign in heaven and earth.

  • We believe rescue or redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin is only through the sacrificial death once and for all time of our representative and substitute Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man.

  • We believe justification is God’s act of undeserved mercy in which the sinner is pardoned all their sins and accepted as righteous in God’s sight only because of the righteousness of Christ imputed to them or credited to their account, and this justification is received by faith alone, by simple personal trust in Jesus.

  • We believe each individual sinner needs the Holy Spirit to make the work of Christ effective, granting them repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ

  • We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in all those who believe in Jesus and receive Him, producing in them an increasing likeness to Jesus in character and behavior, and empowering them for their witness of Him in the world.

  • We believe all true and genuine believers in Jesus belong to Him and to the only holy universal Church, which is the Body of Christ.

  • We believe the risen Lord Jesus Christ will personally return again and will judge all people, executing God’s just condemnation on the unrepentant and receiving the redeemed to eternal glory.

  • We believe that God is still today ruling everything we see and do not see, all visible and invisible worlds.

  • We believe God is graciously pursuing people. He desires us to know Him...not to clamp us down in some religious way, but so we would know the God we were made for.

We believe the fundamental truths of Christianity revealed in the Bible and rediscovered at the Reformation including:

Sola Gratia - By Grace Alone

Sola Fide - Through Faith Alone

Solus Christus - In Christ Alone

Sola Scriptura - Revealed by Scripture Alone

Soli Deo Gloria - To The Glory of God Alone

Nicene Creed

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten not made, of one being with the Father. Through him all things were made.

For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

What We Endeavor

We earnestly seek to be a community where the love and grace of God are not only enjoyed but actively lived out among one another, all for the glory of God. We endeavor to be…

God-Centered
God is not a part of our story; we are part of His. He is the gracious Creator and Sustainer of everything, visible and invisible. Out of His great love, God sent His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to seek and restore those who had been separated from Him.

God is calling people back to Himself, to be part of what He is doing now and what He will do forever. He is the true dwelling place of His people, the One for whom they were made. Through faith in Jesus, His people are restored to Him by grace, united with the One who is our ultimate joy.

Bible-Driven
The Bible is God’s Word, written for humanity. In its pages, an infinite and eternal God reveals Himself, His character, and His attributes, making it possible for people to know Him personally. The Bible also unveils God’s plan to restore His people to Himself. Every page points to Jesus, who came in humility to give His life for those who call upon Him in faith.

The Word of God is living and transformative. When we encounter it, it changes us. We love God’s Word because it reveals who He is and leads us to life in Him.

Resting in Jesus
Many people believe Christianity is about moral performance, doing good things and avoiding bad ones. But the truth is, no human effort can measure up to the holiness of a pure and perfect God.

True Christianity rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ. God the Father is pleased with Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross. When we place our faith in Him, God is pleased with us. The righteousness of Jesus is credited to us by grace through faith. Because of this, we can cease from our striving and rest in the finished work of Christ. This is the good news: come and find rest in Jesus.

Gospel-Motivated
Human efforts to earn God’s favor always fail. Trying to achieve righteousness leads either to despair when we fail or to pride when we mistakenly think we’ve succeeded.

Our rebellion left us spiritually dead, unable to please God. But God, in His mercy, did not leave us there. He sent His Son, Jesus, who humbled Himself for our sake. Jesus met every demand of God’s law and took the punishment for all who call upon Him in faith.

When we stop striving to earn God's favor and instead rest in the person and work of Jesus Christ, everything changes. Motivations are transformed. Heavy burdens are lifted. Jesus Christ is beautiful, gracious, and the fulfillment of every longing. In Him, God's blessings flow to us not because of our actions but because of His grace. This gospel changes everything, even the way we live.

Enjoying Jesus
God sent Jesus to restore His people to Himself. Jesus came in humility, lived a perfect life, and gave His life on the cross to reconcile us to God.

We have failed to keep God’s commandments to love Him with our whole hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves. But Jesus succeeded where we failed. His perfect obedience and His sacrificial death paid the price for our sins. Through faith in Him, we are redeemed, and His work is complete.

In Jesus, we find true joy.

Sharing Jesus
On our own, we are estranged from the Creator of all things. Every person has turned away, following their own path. In this rebellion, we stand guilty before a holy God.

But what happens when, out of love, God sends His own Son to take the punishment we deserve? What happens when the guilty are shown mercy, forgiven, and restored to their Creator? They are overwhelmed with joy, and they can’t help but share this good news with others!

When we find our joy in Christ, He is glorified, and our souls are satisfied. It is our desire that more people come to know and experience the radical love of Jesus.
